A tease of spring

Hasn't mother nature been the biggest tease this winter? We will have a day or two of really nice weather and then it will snow. Or get really cold. After picking up a couple of inches of snow on Sunday, Tuesday it was 70 here in State Center. Although it was really windy, it was so nice.
The kids are getting to the point where they have major cabin fever. They are rowdy as all get out and pretty much have been making Aaron and me nuts! They just need to get outside.
With the awesome weather on Tuesday, I told Aaron we were loading up the crew and heading to the school playground. We walked up there and the kids played hard for a good 45 minutes.
For good measure, on the way home, we stopped at the library park. Because they have swings and the school doesn't. And because we wanted to make sure the kiddos were good and worn out.
As my mom always used to say, "Go outside and get the stink blown off you." :)
Despite my love of snow (when I'm not driving in it), I'm ready for spring. Just ready to be able to be outside whenever we want.
Bring on more walks. More bike rides. More time at the playground.
You will see that the twins are ready too. They LOVE the swing. Love it. They laugh continually in there. You can't help but smile at them.
Bring on Spring! The Burdorfs are ready. :)
