We were busy, busy at our house this past weekend. Friday night kicked-off the high school football season. Prior to the game Jerod and Mary came over and had supper with us and we always love to see them. Unfortunately, the Trojans lost 36-35, but it was a very exciting game.
Saturday we headed to Ames to find some fall clothes for the kids. Jenna's jeans were getting either too short or too tight in the waist, so luckily we found her a few pairs.
Saturday afternoon we started to re-arrange the house. Our basement was recently finished so Aaron and I moved furniture and cleaned up. We LOVE having the basement finished because it's so spacious and relaxing down there.
Sunday Jenna got invited to a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese in Cedar Falls, so we road tripped up there. She had a lot of fun and I'm sure she can't wait to go back. While she was at the party Aaron and I spent the entire time at Younkers! Aaron found some good deals on school clothes, so he was excited.
This weekend looks to be busy too! Mandy and Justin are coming down for some belly pics and Jess and Mitch are also coming down, so we can all go night golfing Saturday night. Should be a blast and we can't wait to see everybody!
