Memorial Day Weekend

We had a nice Memorial Day weekend in State Center. Friday nite Frank and Linda made the trip from Sioux City. Saturday morning Frank, Linda, and Aaron headed down to Des Moines for Adam's graduation. The kids and I stayed back because two and a half hours of sitting for Brody seemed a little much! We drove down and met them for lunch at the Cheesecake Factory (yum!).

Sunday Aaron did some work on the field and got Frank to help out for a few hours as well. We just kind of lounged around and didn't do anything too exciting. We played outside, went for walks, and just vegged out.

Monday was the baseball tournament in Gilbert. First games of the season! I know I say it a lot, but I just love baseball! The first game didn't go that great and the guys lost in 15-5 in 5 innings, but they rebounded for the second game and won 7-3. The kids did SO WELL at the tournament considering they had no naps, which is really tough for Brode. The poor kid was asleep before we left the parking lot!
